This is a growing team in a fast paced environment with progression opportunities.

This position will be to initially help with the accounts of several clients right away and then look to develop and support other staff. You will also be working with a mixed range of clients from tech, to hospitality with some start ups included.

The role:

• Assist in the preparation of accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, CIS submissions, PAYE and self assessments
• Support the Director in day to day business requirements
• Liaise with clients for the above functions
• Assist with administrative tasks in the Practice as may be required
• managing the client relationships with clear responsibility over portfolio’s
• Resolving ad hoc queries raised by clients and being empathetic and proactive to go that extra mile for them

What you bring to the table:

• AAT Level 4
• Part ACCA qualified
• Experience working in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of Xero and Brightpay
• Ability to learn quickly and excellent attention to detail
• High levels of professionalism and genuine interest and care for the small businesses out client serves
• Good communication, with solid interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues
• A real ‘Can do’ and ‘Will do’ attitude
• Legally authorised to work in the UK
