Relationship Manager – United Kingdom (Remote)

The Accountants’ Recruiter is working exclusively with our sister company The Accountants’ Growth Club (AGC) to find an outstanding Relationship Manager to work with our Growth Experts to help our forward-thinking, ambitious small accounting, bookkeeping and tax firm owners grow their practice.

What you’ll do

  • Onboard new members
  • Convert enquiries and prospects into club members
  • Facilitate our members to put together their Growth Plan
  • Support our members to get the value out of their membership
  • Form strong relationships with our members, team and Growth Experts
  • Run a quarterly review with your members to refocus them on the next 3 months of their growth journey
  • Act as a ‘triage’ service for our members and connect them with the right Growth Expert for their needs
  • Represent AGC at events and conferences, in particular Accountex, Xerocon and other trade shows or conferences that the AGC decides to exhibit at or attend as delegates
  • Be active on LinkedIn and use LinkedIn to connect with the AGC members and prospects
  • Regularly share and comment on the AGC content, industry influencers, AGC members and potential prospects’ content
  • Strengthen your personal brand in helping small accountancy firm owners grow their practice
  • Facilitate online group meetings and sessions

Is this you?

  • Team player who is happy to do what needs to be done to best serve our members; we work and pull together as a team. (AGC has a ‘no divas’ policy.)
  • Good account management skills – you may have had a customer success type role or key account manager role in the past
  • You are highly organised with positive energy levels and may have previous experience of working with clients who are very time poor.
  • You enjoy the chance to be proactive and hands-on with your clients
  • A great listener and advisor, who can motivate and energise others to take actions
  • A problem-solving mindset with a consultative approach. 
  • Happy to work semi-autonomously and unsupervised from home, but enjoy the support and backup of a team
  • A ‘people’ person who is sociable and a great communicator
  • Someone who can help people relax and feel at ease
  • Good with technology, particularly cloud-based applications such as LinkedIn, Google Suite, Zoom
  • Living in the UK with right to work (mandatory)

You will work closely with a well-respected and published author/influencer in the accounting world. This role will give you a deep insight and understanding of what it really means to grow and scale a small business.

You’ll work with an ambitious and happy team that supports small accounting, bookkeeping and tax firm owners. You will work alongside an amazing and enthusiastic community of accounting professionals to transform their working lives and achieve their business goals.

  • Full time position (37.5 hours) or 80%, i.e. working shorter days 5 days a week
  • Salary: up to £38,000 (DOE) + opportunities for bonus
  • Remote, flexible working (must be UK-based and authorised to work in Great Britain)
  • Pension scheme, 28 days holiday
  • IT equipment will be provided, if needed
  • Enhanced maternity leave package after 12 months service
