IFA Administrator

Are you an experienced administrator? We are looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a growing, leading Professional Services Group based in London.

The role

Our client is not your traditional practice and very much moving with the times. They are a multi-discipline consulting practice, assisting entrepreneurial businesses and private clients by delivering an end-to-end solution throughout their business journey.

Their team have a range of expertise within International Taxation, Company Accounting, Digital Marketing, IT Strategy, Business Advisory, Legal Services and Financial Services, with a mission to disrupt the disjointed Professional Services space.

Your duties will include

  • Adding client data onto back-office system

  • Adding and updating new business ad fees onto back-office systems

  • Sending Letters of Authority (LOA) and regularly following up with providers

  • Processing new business – including anti-money laundering check and follow through to completion of the application process

  • Liaising with clients and providers

  • Processing fund switches and withdrawals

  • Booking client calls, fact find meeting and sending documents

  • Managing telephone and postal queries

  • Producing client valuations

  • Scanning documents onto back-office systems

  • Managing internal reporting on prospects, clients, status and fees

  • Working with the finance team on commission income reconciliation

  • Supporting colleagues with miscellaneous administrative tasks

  • Assisting with other duties required by the Head of Financial Services

What you’ll bring to the table

  • 2+ years of experience working for an IFA in an administrative role

  • Experienced in using Intelligent Office

  • Excellent customer services and administrative skills

  • Reliable and effective workload management, and confident with working to tight deadlines

  • Must be a team player

  • Confident communicator, with solid interpersonal skills – especially speaking to clients and providers on the phone

  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
