Operations Administrator – Sulhamstead, Reading

Our award-winning accounting client based in Reading is looking for an Operations Administrator to join their technology-forward team.

As a positive and proactive individual, you’ll be eager to manage a variety of administrative tasks – both behind the scenes and in a client-facing approach.

Your duties

  • Greeting and singing in/out clients

  • Ordering stationery supplies

  • Sorting out post and franking

  • Scanning and filing documents

  • Group email management

  • Answering the phone and taking messages

  • Assistance with Company Secretary admin tasks

  • Managing meeting room bookings and diary maintenance

  • Database management

  • Updating client task records

  • Management of the new and ex client process

  • Supporting Client Managers ad hoc

  • Correspondence with Government organisations, such as HMRC

  • Improve existing processes

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Strong IT skills – including: Microsoft Office Word and Excel

  • Experience of strong administration skills

  • Able to work to strict deadlines, prioritise tasks and manage expectations

  • Great attention to detail

  • Confident communicator, with solid interpersonal skills, both internally and externally

  • A can-do attitude to problem solving

  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom

Desired experience

  • Accountancy or Solicitor practice experience

  • Customer service experience
