About the Workplace

Our client owns a group of practices with exciting business growth plans. You will be coached, mentored and supported to run one of the offices. With client satisfaction, team success and growth at the forefront of your business goals, you will take ownership of running the location and help develop the branch, clients and team.

What will your day look like?

• Reviewing statutory accounts for clients – from sole traders and SMEs
• Meeting with clients to discuss their business’ needs and how you can support them
• Act as a primary contact for clients
• Assist clients with tax queries when required
• Add value to basic services (management accounts, taxation, business advice, payroll, bookkeeping, and company formation)
• Support and develop the team as needed

What you bring to the table*

• You’re a qualified accountant (AAT / ACCA / ACA) looking to progress to a management role.
• Excellent people and project management skills and a passion for helping your clients grow with accurate accounts and helpful business advice.
• Experience in a client-facing role and meeting with clients.
• You know how to maximise efficiency through technology and you have a broad range of skills from accounting to taxation.
• Experience of people management would be ideal
• Ideally, you’ll have some experience with business management or managing a practice in a past role. 
• Must be legally authorised to work in the UK.

What’s in it for you?

Location: Ivybridge, South Devon – Office-based but hybrid may be available
Position: Full Time; Part Time will be considered for the right candidate
Salary: £30,000 – £50,000 DOE (pro rata for part time)
