Finance Manager – Remote

The role

Our ISO-accredited and award winning client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their remote team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, who acts as Virtual FD for the client portfolio, the Senior Finance Manager will ensure the delivery of contractual requirements for their clients.

You’ll be supporting the management of outsourced business finance services, provided to a portfolio of businesses with a turnover of between £2 million – £20 million per annum.

Your duties

• Production of management accounting information to either clients of Virtual FD

• Advise the Virtual FD of any potential issues or opportunities that you observe, to allow for proactivity in client support

• Data processing and client reporting is completed by deadlines – either personally or delegated to the wider team

• Work with other Senior Finance Managers to share deputising for the Manager Director in absence

• Liaise with clients and suppliers to give them a sense of being part of their internal team, rather than an external service provider

• Ensure that the ISO Management System is understood and adhered to at all times and that any questions or queries are raised with the Managing Director

• General administrative duties from time to time

• Support the marketing activity by maintaining a professional presence on social media

• Support the delivery of contractual obligations and strategic goals by way of ad-hoc projects, analysis and activities from time to time

What you’ll bring to the table

• AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified

• 3-5 years of proven client-facing experience in a similar role

• Experience in producing management accounts and finance forecasting accurately

• Able to work to strict deadlines and manage expectations

• Great attention to detail

• Confident communicator, with solid interpersonal skills, both internally and externally

• A can-do attitude to problem solving

• Must be located in and have the right to work in the United Kingdom
