Accountant

We have a fantastic opportunity with our award-winning, Sutton Coldfield based accountancy practice client, that looks to hire an accountant who they can support to become a tax expert.

The Company & Role

Our client is an award-winning, cloud-based accountancy practice who are searching for a newly qualified accountant who is looking to specialise in tax. They have a lovely, modern office and also offer hybrid working. In this role, you will be:

• Assisting colleagues with producing tax returns and statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Assisting clients with tax queries
• Meeting with clients to discuss their business’ needs and how you can support them
• Listening to clients and passing this information on
• Add value to basic services (management accounts, taxation, business advice, payroll, bookkeeping)

What you bring to the table

For this role, the client is looking for someone who has:

• ACCA / ACA qualifications
• Experience working in an Accountancy practice
• A drive to progress their career
• The ability to efficiently work in a hybrid environment
• Excellent communication skills, with solid interpersonal skills
