Senior Accountant / Tax Manager (Part-Time) – Remote

Are you a qualified chartered accountant in search of a remote, part-time role? We have a fantastic opportunity with a Bristol-based practice who support the tax needs of creative clients and businesses.

The Role & Firm

In this contract role, where you’ll manage a client tax portfolio, providing your expert review and sign off of outsourcer-produced accounts. This firm has helped creative businesses sort out their tax and accountancy needs for over twenty-five years. They take care of the financial side so clients can concentrate on producing fantastic content.

• Manage a tax portfolio with full autonomy; review and manage self-assessment tax return produced by the offshore team
• Two (2) month contract with possible extension to three (3) months; 30 day notice would be given to you
• £27 per hour
• Remote (though Southwest-based would be a nice bonus)
• Experience with creative/entertainment sector is a bonus but not necessary
• Possibility to become an employee if it’s a fantastic fit

What you bring to the table

• ACCA qualification
• 2-3 years of proven tax experience, specifically reviewing and signing off on self-assessment tax returns
• Experience working with outsourced and offshore staff
• You feel comfortable and efficient working in a remote environment
• Efficient and proactive
• Excellent communicator, with solid interpersonal skills
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and other accounting software
• Able to start ASAP
• Located in and legally authorised to work in the UK
• Bonus if you’re located in Bristol or the Southwest
